John Patrick is President of Augustine College. He retired from his position as Associate Professor, Clinical Nutrition, Departments of Biochemistry and Pediatrics, at the University of Ottawa in 2002 and lectures widely each year on issues of ethics and faith in relation to medicine, speaking regularly at medical schools in Canada, the U.S., Britain, the West Indies, and Africa. He holds M.B., B.S., M.R.C.P. and M.D. degrees from the University of London and St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London.
Edward Tingley is Professor-in-Residence at Augustine College and editor of this blog. He teaches philosophy, the Trivium (grammar, logic, and rhetoric), and the history of art at Augustine College and has M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in philosophy and a B.A. in art history.
